Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

“Harness arrived in good time, is a good fit, seems comfortable and is a great colour. At the moment he does not like the harness going over his head but hopefully he will get used to it.”

“I love it! It’s a very good product, just perfect for my 6 months old puppy. Love the way you can change the size easily and it fits perfectly. Very good quality too.”

“Sadly we managed to put it on upside down. The harness is great and now the initial hiccup has been sorted our dog has no problem wearing it. Maybe a diagram on putting it on and adjusting for the first time might be helpful”

We are so sorry it wasn't to your liking. The benefits of Ruffwear harnesses are their durability, as a user of the harness on my dog I'd have to disagree with your comments as whilst it's tough it does have a pliability to it. Of course it's personal opinion and with our no quibble return policy a return isn't an issue - sometimes you just have to see the product to see if it suits you. We hope you find one to your liking.

“Love this harness and so does our dog Pogo. In fact this is our 2nd one from you in as many months. 3 walks a day in the mud has made the first one very dirty, and with the weather like it is we needed a 2nd one to allow us to wash the 1st! I looked no further when we decided we needed another harness, straight to Mountain Dog and the Ruffwear Front, same as last time, great service and a great price, perfect.”
