A very exciting product and superbly practical. Good for steady control of my retriever and visible orange colour. Durable and easy to wear.

Sturdy, well made anti-slip harness. Bought for my lad so that I can give him extra support (using the inbuilt handle) as he's recovering from a slipped disc in the lower part of his neck.

Had to send this back and order another as my greyhound could not put his leg through the front harness piece has only one side unclips so they have to put leg through , I got through ok but had difficulty getting it off ! Also you have to adjust everytime you put on ! It was very well made but was not any good for him ! , I reorded one that every side unclips and you don't have to adjust it is very good

Hello Lynda, Sorry to hear that Lynda. The WebMaster is a fantastic harness however we understand that it is not for everyone. if you haven't already, we would suggest ordering a Flagline harness. The Flagline harness comes with 6 adjustment points allowing for optimum fit. It is lightweight and easy to put on. This is something that we have seen time and time again that would be ideal for a dog like yours. Wish you good luck and hope you get a harness sorted for your furbaby.

Having bought the Front range harness from mountain dog before I knew that when we wanted our second harness we’d come back here - fab service and love the Ruffwear brand. So I have been looking at the webmaster for a while - primarily because we hill walk and wanted to be able to help our dog Derry over any obstacles and the handle at the back of this harness looked sturdy and supportive. Our dog is a scent hound- big chested but very narrow waist and neck. We watched the ruffwear adjustment video and thought that it looked relatively straight forward to sort. Well, we have a very placid dog but it took nearly 45 mins to adjust this harness to fit properly - hence the 4 star rating. Saying that it fits really well (which can be tricky for our hound given how he’s built), does not rub, has lovely padding and looks really cool. I can pick him up easily with the handle (he’s 18kg) and it does not distress him at all. What I will say is that it will be interesting to see if he copes in the height of summer heat with this harness as it does come down much lower on the back and due to the padding could be quite warm. Saying that I believe Ruffwear do a lightweight version of this harness so that could be another option. All in all I really like this harness as does my dog. It is a bit of a pfaff to adjust initially but once adjusted you can take on and off without having to loosen the straps so it’s set up for future walks. What’s more I’m pretty confident that we can negotiate most obstacles with the handle on this harness without any discomfort to our boy.

Thank you so much for your detailed review - we use the webmaster too and agree it takes a little while to adjust but once done and the dog learns to lift that leg to put it on it works a treat - thanks so much for your custom and your kind comments.
