Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

“For anyone with a sighthound, whether an Italian Greyhound, a Whippet, a Lurcher or a full Greyhoundthese are ESCAPE PROOF. I have a Greyhound, a Borzoi and a Whippet and I’ve got Webmasters for all three of them. I’ve tried leather hound collars, martingales and cheaper harnesses but honestly I can’t praise Ruffwear enough. Safe secure and impossible for them to slip out of them. Just ensure they are adjusted correctly. You can practically tailor fit them. Made to last, can wipe them down. Just a tip though, don’t put them away wet. Can’t praise enough”

“Brilliant harness for my Cocker Spaniel Belle. Fits perfectly (easily adjustable) and an essential piece of kit for taking her on the fells. She knows exactly what '1, 2, 3, lift' now means, and the harness means she is safe and comfortable whatever the obstacle. Would definitely recommend.”

“Love this harness it was recommended by our trainer. It worked very well, my dog couldn’t get out of it until she bit through one of the straps on a walk (when she wants to get out of something she usually finds a way).”

“Love this escape proof harness which means I can be much more relaxed walking our rescue dog who wants to run away from anything scary. Do you have any plans to make a fluorescent version as our dog really prefers being walked at night and it would make her much easier to see?”

“Very pleased with these harnesses, they look smart. Certainly stand up to a tough day at walking the hills, scrambling up the Scruggs and swimming in the sea. Both dogs wore them comfortably all day. Works great while running too all round an excellent product.”

“Bought this for my miniature dachshund. At first I thought it was rather big and rigid and was going to exchange it for the front range harness. However, on trying both harnesses I decided to keep it. It has been absolutely brilliant and just what I wanted. The handle is extremely useful and ideal for picking up my dog to lift over styles or through muddy gates. The harness itself is very supportive for my dogs back and fits my dog brilliantly. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a harness for their miniature dachshund.”
