Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

“After reading reviews and size guidance I bought XS for my 6 month cockapoo. Perfect fit over harness and not restrictive for an active pup! She’s not a fan of wearing anything but has taken to this without any fuss and looks very smart. The reflective strips are great for low light walking and the concealed clips mean no fluff gets stuck making very easy to put on a wriggling puppy! Excellent speedy service from Mountain Dog.”

“We bought this overcoat in red clay in a size small for our springer spaniel x boxer x staffy mix (22kg, 27inch chest). After reading some of the previous reviews we decided to order a size down from usual as she currently wears the medium front range harness which fits her perfectly. The size small in this coat is the ideal length and it's clear that the medium simply would have drowned her. The delivery was extremely prompt and the company have been faultless. I would 100% recommend this coat for anyone looking for a hard-wearing, great quality jacket for their dog. Having gone through several coats with our dog in the past, we can tell that this one is made to last!”

“We purchase 2 ruffwear overcoats (small size) for our 2 springer spaniels. The coats fit them beautifully, even though they are quite different sized dogs in height and stature. The fleece lining is fantastic whilst the outer layer keeps them dry and withstands them scampering through the rough hedgerow.”

“Great quality, very well made, so why you might ask 4 stars instead of 5? Dogs come in all shapes and sizes. Alfie (he's a Jack Chi) has a rather big head on top of which sit 2 big ears. The absence of any adjustment on the chest strap made getting the Overcoat on and off too much of a struggle so it was returned and an alternative product was purchased.”
