Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

“I really like the design, I like the form but I cannot recommend the product. The leg fitting, designed to keep warmth in chafed my dogs legs to the skin. When wet the seams around the legs traps dirt and rubs against the leg. It was rubbed raw we had to get steroid cream from the vet. I have contacted Ruffwear but they blamed my sizing when I actually followed the guide or maybe it wasn't suitable for my dogs shape. Others have reported the same issue. Disappointed with Ruffwear's response.”

Many thanks for the review. We responded immediately to help you ahead of you posting this review and have yet to hear back - that offer still stands. It is always key to ensure a correct fit in any jacket or harness as movement or tightness can create friction which over time will cause health issues. Regular checking through use is also advised - Ruffwear's warranty is exceptional and we have even offered to pursue a replacement jacket in a different style if more appropriate to your dog.

“Absolutely fantastic dog coat….waterproof along the dogs back and neoprene around legs & underneath. Very easy to put on. Lightweight. Very happy.”

“A small fits our cockapoo Monty perfectly with a little growing room - despite being a little unsure when putting it on it clearly lets him enjoy a walk more when the weather is freezing cold, wet or windy.”

“When I ordered the cloud chaser jacket my dogs measurements were on the upper limit for the size small and the lower limits for the medium, he had also just been clipped so as his coat grew obviously he would get slightly larger, with that in mind and also previous reviews had said the coat comes up small I went for the medium, when first trying it on it seemed fine but once he started running around in it I noticed the underbelly had covered his genitalia and when he urinated it obviously went inside the coat soiling both the coat and himself, the coat fits fine everywhere else so After contacting both ruffwear and the shop where I bought it and their answers were the same we can’t help I now have the problem of trying to get it altered”

We've found Ruffwear's sizing guide to be very accurate and with the Cloud Chaser being a more form fitting garment it's important to get the fit right.
