Its great my daughter loves it, and its the Deluxe edition rather than the Special addition. would be handy if it came with a bag or something as the box does not last long

Bought this as a starter set for an eight year old. For the price it proved to be a very good buy. The presentation is excellent and the recipient was thrilled with the content. A bit early to tell how effective the tricks will be but it seems that there will be plenty of fun in learning to master them.A very worthwhile purchase for an entry level set of magic tricks.

Bought this for my 5 year old girl for Christmas, definitely needs adult help at this age, especially with instructions. It went down well Xmas day with her and her older cousins, but she seems to of forgotten about it now. A lot of the tricks in the booklet are using household things. But the other tricks in the box are simple enough to teach a child of 5 I think. She may do more tricks at a later date as tends to lose interest in things easily, so may not be the product that's at fault .

Seems ok. Bit disappointed in the packaging - this is for my partners neice and its got a dent and rip in the box. So will have to give her it now as its too late to do anything about - but think quality control lacked this time.

My daughter received it as a 7th birthday present. ( I genuinely think she thinks the wand is magic). As long as your child can read the instructions, it's great... Be prepared to help out, at this age, but she has been practising all afternoon on her own. A big hit .

the box is lightweight and not good enough to keep the products in, as you would a board game.the contents do not require the huge box anyway.the contents are bits of plastic only slightly better than what you get in a cracker.the instructions were in small print and difficult to follow myself - let alone the 7 year old recipient.absolutely not worth the price tag.very disappointing. slightly embarrassed to have given it as a gift in fact.

Bought this item for my 6 year old daughter as she loves to play and act around us. So thought this would be an ideal present for her to have some fun with? The tricks are ok some are a little difficult to do, but most disappointing was on delivery of this item as it was for christmas was that there was a large unmoveable sticker over the front of the box sayong 50% OFF and the price? Not good when you are trying to deliver from santa? Couldn't remove the sticker without damaging the box?

It came with a massive sticker on the box reduced price etc which didnt come off very easily and as it was a gift I had to cover it with sticky labels. Fortunately it was for my child and not someone else's as nobody wants to give a gift with the price really visible. They played with it for a while, quite good stuff in it but now its sitting gathering dust so I think the novelty has worn off. The magic wand broke and some of the tricks were beyond my 6 year olds capabilities.
