“My son got this for Christmas, and were all pretty disappointed in it. Growing up, I had the Fisher Price magic set, which allowed you to manipulate items in the kit to do your magic. While the is kit advertises 125 tricks, many of them are just optical illusions. For example, there are little pins; which my son was excited to use in a trick. The first one shown has you set out 4 pins and challenge someone to remove one, but still have 4. The њtrickќ is to pull one off the table, knocking another one diagonally to make the Roman Numeral 4. To me, this isn'tmagic. The kit says it comes with a magic wand, but it really just a colored piece of paper rolled into a tube; with no way to fasten it. When you pick it up, the rolls fall from the bottom. The QR code listed on the instructions takes you to a country music video, not the directions. We downloaded the app but it is far from user friendly and the sound doesn't work.I rarely leave negative reviews like this, but this kit has caused a lot of frustration and disappointment on Christmas Day from my 6 year old and from me.In addition, the materials look and feel cheaply made, the directions for each trick are tricky to understand and there no mention of presentation, which is really where the fun in magic comes in.Dont buy this. Youll regret it.”
“I bought the set for a birthday present for my son- the box was damaged and I didn't have time to return the product unfortunately. Hopefully the gift inside is OK.”
“Me and the kids had a right blast with this. Listen it by no means professional but during lockdown I gave this to my eldest daughter who practiced and learnt some tricks and then knocked on the door with a fake beard pretending to be a magician. A forever memory we will always laugh about!”
