Marvin's Silver Rainbow Markers (12 Pack) Reviews

4.3 Rating 49 Reviews
I love these pens, the silver really pops on darker paper.Theyre good for decorating stones and smooth wood but not for colouring books as the ink soaks through thinner paper.I'd definitely recommend getting some black card to use these on as they look really good and you can really see colours.Hope you found my review helpful

These are some fun pens! Come out silver but edged with the colour! When you first use them you have to press the tip onto the top of the pen lid to release any air then pump the pen up and down until the ink flows then you can write away. The pack comes with spare nibs which is great. The only downside is that I got these for my 6yr old daughter. They let off fumes which I would expect with markers but It does say from 3yrs plus so I assumed it wouldn't. Great set though.

These pens are wonderful and quite unlike anything I have tried before. There are 12 markers in lovely tonal colours which create a lovely shimmery effect. They are quite chunky but not uncomfortable to hold and the cap fits securely. I followed the instructions exactly as written on the box and they worked exactly as they should, the inks flowed really well. They are perfect for creating beautiful handmade cards and gift tags for family and friends. My granddaughter absolutely loves them as well and has enjoyed drawing abstract patterns, they definitely encourage creativity.Delighted with them, happy to recommend.

These are good quality Rainbow marker pens. Brilliant pens for writing, drawing and painting. They flow very easily and swiftly. Please be mindful that when using these pens for the very first time as you have to push the nib down into the pen to activate the flow of paint when you first use them. Put the tip onto paper, apply a little pressure by pushing down onto the paper - you'll feel the nib recede into the pen - hold for a few seconds until you see the paint flow into the tip and away you go - you're ready to create your artwork. Comes in a nice presentable box so can be given as a gift to someone who loves arts and crafts. Lots of colour shades to choose from. All in all these are really good pens perfect for doing arts and crafts or for writing on a greeting card.Hope you find this helpful.

Marvin's Magic - Amazing Silver Rainbow Markers - 12 Markers - Children's Drawing Markers - Ideal for Kids' Art Projects - Create Shimmering and Colourful Artwork is a terrific addition to our art box and the teenagers have loved creating different effects using these clever pens.I love how each of them creates a distinct colour, yet the silver ink seems to blend in perfectly with the colours. An impressive set of pens which I am happy to recommend.

Fun for kids to use and they look fab, you don't get a huge amount of difference between the colours as it's quite subtle but fun nonetheless. Be careful of the paper you choose because they do tend to show through.

Beautifully boxed, these metallic markers make a great gift. They work like acrylic pens and require shaking and pressing down on the nib to activate.Twelve colours are provided which edge the broader streaks of metallic silver. I note there is no orange (my favourite colour!)These work reasonably well. However, when I used the blue colour on paper, as advised to start, I note that the blue outline is not smooth but spiky (see photo). This also came through the back of the notepaper plus onto the following two pages (70 gsm). Please do use a protective table cover before use, as there is clearly ink seepage. Nonetheless, the pens are chunky and ideal for small hands. They are to use for colouring and forming letters - and are just a little bit different. Please note, there is an unattractive odour emanating from the paper after use. These are proudly made in England and are priced at Ј12.99. I have used similar made in China and this set is by far a better quality. It is a more robust manufacture, if more expensive. Spare nibs are also supplied.
