“Great hatch, well made and looks and works great in place. Found it a bit tricky to install as you can't remove the door to fit the frame, so need a second person to hold the door up whilst you fix the frame in place.”

“An excellent product that was delivered promptly and very well packaged. Simple instructions via pictures. If you are looking for a new, and insulated loft hatch, this is an excellent solution. Unfortunately for me this did not work because of the particular situation I was trying to use it in, and the timber structures above the ceiling. That said, I would unhesitatingly recommend this product for a normal ceiling structure.”

“I have a high ceiling (3 metres) with a metre square loft opening. Previously I used an extendable step ladder but, having explored the idea of a permanent staircase, I decided on getting a better moveable ladder. The AL5C is ideal. Much safer with the hook on bar and wide treads it's also light enough for my wife to set up herself which does mean the loft space is already becoming an easy storage (read dumping) space. I'm very pleased with the product.”

“Pretty much flush with ceiling so that the hatch us discrete - just what I was after. Nicely finished and appears well made, I would say good value as nice and easy to fit”
