“I agree with Steve on 11th November that fixing screws need to be smaller and recessed to avoid being struck by the hatch when it is closed. Apart from that it is easy to fit and looks very neat when finished.”

“I had a fair bit of trouble fitting it, but looking at other reviews it seems like it was probably me who is the only one who had problems. There is very little clearance between the door and the frame when the door is closed (I know this is because it's airtight), but this meant the screws that hold the frame to the joists clashed with the door on closing. I had to do a fair bit of screw removal/replacement and ended up not being able to use the rubber washers provided as they made the screws stand too proud. But now it's in it's looking and operating well (after 3 weeks).”
