“Fitted this hatch with a 3 section ladder. One point to be aware of if your joists are less than 200mm thick: The polystyrene insulation is 150mm thick, I had two choices 1) raise the mounting point for my ladder or 2) cut out a notch from the insulation so the legs of the ladder don't make contact with the insulation”
