“After gifting some berry suet pellets to my friend who said her birds refused them I purchased some for my garden birds from Ivel Valley and they love them. Ivel Valley have obviously got the ingredients right to attract garden birds. I mix them in with the insect suet pellets for variety and the garden birds gobble them down.”
“This flavour of suet pellets seems to be the least powdery. I sieve the insect and peanut ones otherwise the powder clogs the feeders.* No need with the berry (I haven’t bought apple flavour so I can’t comment on that.)
*The powder doesn’t get wasted, it works well in homemade suet balls.”
“Regular visitors are Thrushes, Blue Tits, Great Tits, Sparrows, Greater spotted Woodpeckers, plus ground feeders robins, black birds, dunnocks, collared doves, wood pigeons. So, very popular.”
