Really good stuff at a very reasonable price as it was on offer. I'm certainly no expert I have just started getting into slightly smokey whiskies. I think this is probably a good all round crowd pleaser. I have sampled better but that was also three times the price!

My very first alcoholic drink when I was a 15 year old in a hotel in glen Coe but it was 1969 and a member of a Glasgow mountaineering club . Oh happy memories …
