“Perhaps i'm a heathen, or my taste buds are shot, but was dissappointed. Certainly preferred neat as over ice there was an odd bitter note coming through for me. I found it hard to distinguish between lower priced irish whiskeys, at least as far as assessing to be "better". You milage may vary, I do prefer corn whiskeys (i.e. bourbons) in general, or if i'm going with barley, then I prefer something peaty.”

“This is really good stuff. It is smooth, warm, complex, and it’s hard to describe all the different tastes. There is warmth, dried fruit, leather, tobacco, and goodness knows what else. It is complex and satisfying. This is a whiskey to convert you to single pot stills”
