Palate (Optional) Initially quite sweet and spicey with strong but not overpowering peated presence.

Finish (Optional) Sweetness gives way to spice and a long smoky finish, @ 50% abv, it benefits from a touch of water.

“First sampled in a hotel in Perthshire intigued by the name and looking to try an alternative to Islay peated malts, something peated but "new". Having paid almost double for some "heavily peated", alternatives in the past, really pleased to have "stumbled" across this one, especially at the price.”

“Powerful peaty, fruity scent like roasted orange peel. Strong peaty flavour with steawed plums and Christmas cake. One geuat commented, it "makes your lips tingle".”
