Nose (Optional) Deep and penetrating
Palate (Optional) Rich, sweet and complex. But not too much sweetness.
Finish (Optional) Mouthfilling and long-lasting
Superb. I like Bells as a glugging whisky, but Mortlach is utterly different. You won't "glug" this. A whisky to be savoured in small amounts

So far the best new single malt I have tried in 2019 from the speyside, the 16 years old is a 100 % sherry cask mix it up with the other of the collection it's absolutely a round, rich and very fruity with the characteristics of a speyside single malt with a 43.4% in ABV sold out in the airport while I was in London I was lucky enough to grab 2 bottles. For those who doesn't know mortlach this guys started as the Macallan distillery most of their malk end up being for the Johnny walker as they are part of DIAGEO,the distillery is from dufftown for those who don't know they share the same town with Glenfiddich and William Grant used to be an accountant for them.
