“I've waited a while to jump into buying a bottle of "The Lakes " tried various offerings at whisky gatherings and never been sufficiently impressed enough to invest . When i saw this New Infinity offering finished in Oloroso , Palo Cortado and Manzanilla casks i finally jumped , i really like the influence PC and Manzanilla have on numerous other whiskies in my collection . What a disappointment !!...Given it away , i will not be drinking this ! IMO ...The 3 casks have little or no influence in infusing this whisky with any interesting notes whatsoever , its simply a high ABV young ,very simple offering ....and again , sorry but IMO ..not worth even half the price charged Nice marketing and nice bottles , shame about the liquid ... Allan (Age 67 ) I've been selling and enjoying whisky for 45 years ..So def not a novice ..But as always , only my opinion !”
