As a fan of Spot Whiskey, I was a bit disappointed in this edition, save your money and get the other gold spot, which is excellent

I bought this, my most expensive whiskey to date, on the strength of enjoying green/ yellow/ blue spot whiskeys before, especially enjoying the latter. Unfortunately, I found this whiskey to be a bit unpalatable. I tried it on three different occasions, and instead of the sweet and spicy flavours I'm used to with pot still whiskeys, it just tasted bitter I'm afraid, however I drank it ( little sips, or rolling it around my tongue slowly ). I'm no connoisseur, but I can't recommend this one I'm afraid. Not one to savour on the palette, others may disagree though
