“Wonderful this was the 9 year old with 55 pmm Phenol ---like a sweeter version of Ardbeg Wee Beastie Did actuall have another bottle at ONLY 42 ppm ( 10 yo ) & the difference IS noticeable Hopefully Benromach keep uping the Phenol levels . Impressive for a Smokey Speyside l”

“Took quite a while to open up and initially had an off-note on the finish, but when it did proved to be worth the wait, the bottle supplied being a first-fill bourbon expression with 35ppm phenol level distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2022. Not what I was expecting, but all credit to Benromach for such a comprehensive backstory. Would I buy it again? Yes of course. And, I'm sure future expressions will be worth looking out for too!”
