Unlike other brands on the market the Root It expanding plugs do not have netting at the base. This design allows the tap roots to grow out of the base of the plug unrestricted, avoiding root strangulation. The plugs are held together with a paper wrap which is biodegradable and will not fall apart. It will allow to the roots to penetrate the sides and still keep the plug in shape.
The Root It propagation plugs are available in either peat or coco-coir varieties. They have an ideal air to water ratio, which means you don't have to squeeze the plug for excess water after watering and before you use them.
