La Hacienda introduced clay chimeneas many years ago. All the clay chimeneas are hand made in the traditional way using the finest materials available.
With various different colours and designs to choose from it is easy to customise your patio or outdoor space whilst adding warmth and ambiance to any occasion. If you also want to cook food whilst enjoying the heat of a real fire then some models include a chrome plated cooking grill, whilst others a cooking grill may be added as an accessory.
Lava rocks can be used as a base for this barbecue.

Curing a clay chimneaAll clay chimeneas need to be ‘cured’ before full use. This can be done by filling with sand and lighting a small fire on top with kindling and paper, making sure the flames do not touch the sides. Repeating this a few times will ensure the chimenea does not crack.
