Pressure treated products should not have any treatments applied in the first 6 months after purchase to allow it to dry naturally as a further treatment may cause the wood to warp or split. The green spotting you may see on the surface of the product is caused by salt leaving the timber during the pressure treatment process. It will fade over time and will not affect the durability of the product.
Natural TimberTimber is a natural product so splits and cracks will appear, this is due to changes in the temperature and humidity causing the timber to expand and contract. This is expected and is not a cause for concern, it will not affect the strength and durability of the product.
