We recommend two people to assemble, all instructions and fittings supplied. In addition, a small pot of touch up paint is now supplied with every arbour.Painted in light green and cream, these soft colours will compliment any garden with a hint of the old and the new. The high quality paint with ensure your arbour will stand the test of time.The metal feet at not included but can be added as an optional extra. Caring for wooden furnitureAs a natural product, wood requires special care to keep it in good condition and extend the life of the product.Pressure Treatment - If your product is treated, it is recommended to apply a cut end preserver if you cut, notch or drill the timber in any areas. This will ensure the treatment remains effective.Wood Preservation - We recommend that you apply a wood preservative to unpainted wood every year to maintain the finish of your furniture and ensure it lasts longer. This can be neutral or stained.Weatherproofing - A wax or oil-based weatherproofing finish will also provide stabilisation against shrinking and welling of the wood as moisture-levels vary and so is recommended to protect against extreme weather.Covering your furniture - If you are not going to be using your furniture for a period of time, we suggest using a cover to keep it protected from the elements.Painting your furniture - Painted furniture will need repainting every 12-24 months, depending on location and conditions. We suggest sanding down before painting to ensure a good finish.
