“I have previously extensively used the British Army bivvi bag and have been very pleased with it but was not at its best in the rain when you have to leave a small opening in order not to afixiate yourself. The Duch version solves all the disadvantages of the British bag with hooped design and mesh vent allowing very comfortable sleeping in all conditions. The zip allowing side, rather than top entry is also a plus. But the best bit is the excellent service from Forces Uniform & Kit. Fast delivery and by the way, my bivvi bag had never been used.”

Thanks Gary, and we are grateful for the review. These bivvy bags are awesome bits of kit and so many are in 'as new' condition we wonder whether they were ever issued.

“So after making contact about the condition of my first bivi Steve got on the case of sorting out my replacement, i sent the first one back monday morning and i received my replacement this morning (thursday) so again super fast delivery the bivi is also in mint condition so im very happy with this one and would certainly use forces uniform and kit again and also recommend to friends, its a shame i had to leave a bad review but for some reason emails wouldnt send and this was the only way to make contact however emails work fine now so maybe a problem on the day or with my device, as said befire i would use again.”

“received my bivy super fast can’t fault delivery at all however I ordered from forces uniform and kit as people seamed to be getting very good condition bags , mine arrived with no stuff sack,many repairs and many paint stains I appreciate they are used but mine is grade 2 at best and for the price not good enough I didn’t want to leave a poor review but I have tried to contact but no reply, maybe someone may contact me now?”

“Bivvy in excellent condition, include pole. No compression bag. Very good for the price. A lot of problems with the transport company, no paper in the mailbox, I had to fight to find to know where was my parcel after 2 weeks waiting (I’m in Sweden).”
