“At its heart this is a simple backpack made of sturdy fabric which is in good condition. There is an ammo pouch on either side closed by press studs which have become a little stiff with storage. It is when I look at the attachments that the special features of this pack become clear. There are integral straps with buckle closures on the top and bottom which are unworn and allow equipment such as camping mats or coats to be held for portage. The special feature is the shoulder straps, though. These are similar to the vintage pattern 37 L strap design with a link and associated clip that allows an ammo pouch to be hung from each strap. A vintage kit collectors gem.”

“It is as they say Cordura can’t comment about being waterproof but main problem is this rucksack requires the webbing yoke that come with complete kit. It is useless as a rucksack without it and therefore no use as a rucksack on its own without the complete webbing set. I will need to adapt it to make any use out of it. Not happy with it. Gave 1 star as in good condition but as said no good as ruck sack on its own”
