“Fabulous buy. Just been out on a test run (or should I say walk) with approx 28kg in it for 7 miles. Needed a few attempts to get the dimensions right. The back length is fully adjustable, the waistband is superb and once rightly fitted it is a very comfortable backpack. Weight shifted on the walk which was a slight annoyance as I thought it was the bag - but no - just the guy who packed it. I should have tightened the bag around the weights using the wrap around belts it comes equipped with. Next time. I added a chest strap (personal preference) which I find helps. A couple of quid from Amazon. After struggling with a few "domestic" backpacks this is a step up. A bit faded but very serviceable and will probably outlast my newfound craze of Rucking/Yomping. May go back for the side pockets at a later date.”

“Another on-time delivery of a rucksack in good condition. Spacious enough for a sleeping bag in the main compartment and much more. There is a useful non-fiddly buckle and strap arrangement for carrying sleeping mats and so on under the main compartment. The two pockets (also a stand-alone day pack I gather) attach securely and are capacious (40 by 20 cm). One thing for those of medium height to note is that the rucksack when carried will be pressing down on the top of one's trousers at the back. Braces are the solution, clearly. At about 70 by 60 cm this is a substantial rucksack in size terms but is comfortable to carry. Onwards !”

“Excellent condition and a lot of quality rucksack for the money. It arrived quickly, securely packaged. I gave it a scrub down as it did have a bit of ingrained dust and dirt. Only to be expected given the field use it has had! Overall a great service from Forces. Look forward to using them again.”
