“Jacket arrived next day, it’s surprising it isn’t brand new. Unless you looked really closely you wouldn’t realise it isn’t brand new. Perfect for British weather- light, waterproof and comfy. Would highly recommend”

“I have bought one of these jackets before from a different supplier. They really are waterproof and keep the wind out, however the quality of the so called Grade 1 coat from this other supplier was not great with scuffs and abrasion on the arms in particular. So I thought I would give Forces Uniform a go and was delighted with the coat they sent. This one is definitely grade 1 and with a wash and waterproofing Irvin smart and functional. Keeps out the rain and the reflective bands help when out at night with the dog or on the bicycle. The coat doesn't look too military either. Well worth the money.... If you but from Forces Uniform and Kit.”

“Coat arrived first thing the day after ordering - great service! Pros - the coat is really well made and is almost like new apart from the odd mark here or there. It is very waterproof out of the packet but to be on the safe side I used nikwax waterproofer and the water just beads off the fabric now. The coat is however on the long side and a little big, but this is good for winter with room for layers underneath. I would say it is quite breathable and could happily wear it just as one layer without getting sweaty. Overall the quality is great and for the price there is nothing comparable!”
