“The coat is in good used condition and fits well. I haven't spent much time in the rain yet but I know it's waterproof. Very well made, taped seems. All in all, very good coat!”

“I bought this jacket as it's hard-wearing and has a large hood. I took on board the advice from the comments section and purchased a 42" jacket even though I have a 44" chest. It's a good fit still with room to spare. The jacket arrived the next day and on examination had zero defects. I'm very pleased with it and use it when walking my dogs on the fell.”

“Im a large and the medium is plenty big enough. Top of zip has a plastic tab that was cutting into my chin. slight trimming sorted that out . Otherwise a great garment in excellent condition.”

“Brilliant service. Jacket itself was in excellent condition and fitted a treat over a SP6 shirt. I'm 5'11 and reasonably broad shouldered in build.”

“Great quality for the money, though these really do run LARGE! I'm usually an XL in stuff (about a 45inch chest), and this medium is still fairly roomy. If you're thinking of playing it safe, no need - their returns handling was really good when I bought a large and it felt a bit too big. Both thew ones I recieved were in excellent condition except for very minor stuff, like plastic tabs at the end of drawstrings sometimes missing. The DWR coating still seems to be doing its job too!”

“I measure 42" around the chest and I usually order a Large Size in jackets and XL if I'm wearing layers underneath, but after contacting the guys at Forces Uniform & Kit, I informed them that I would be wearing a thermal base layer and a heavy-duty fleece jacket as a mid-layer, and they assured me that the Size Medium is what I would need, and they weren't wrong, I can wear those items with the jacket and I have no restriction in movement whatsoever. I measure just under 6' tall and I ordered the jacket in Long (96/100-v/vi) and it's perfect, it just covers your backside which is exactly what I wanted. The jacket is a Grade A used and it's in good condition apart from some small marks that you would expect from any used item. I gave it a splash water test with a hose and the water beaded nicely on the outside, but just as a precaution, with it being a used item, I spray-treated the jacket with Fabsil Gold Now it should be good to go, but the only gripe I have with it is that I would have preferred a heavier-duty zip, but personally, that wouldn't put me off from buying it. I'd definitely deal with Forces Uniform & Kit again, I found them helpful and delivery was quick”
