“I use this in winter/colder weather to cycle to work for 20 miles one way. It has never let me down. Waterproof, breathable, comfortable and practical. highly recommended - been using for a year plus 4 days a week.”

“I've had this jacket for 2 weeks. I've worn it in heavy rain and the water just runs off. Worn in combination with the Austrian army over trousers I stayed dry. It's well made and warm. I have a 45 inch chest so ordered the xxl as recommended in the size chart, it was enormous. I returned it for an exchange, which arrived within a few days. The large replacement fits perfectly. For the price I don't believe this jacket can be beaten, the jacket it's replacing cost twice as much but wasn't half as good. Highly recommend this jacket and Forces Uniform and Kit.”

“Bought one of these jackets last week and haven't had it off since then! Initially bought this for work to replace an aging Gore Tex skiing jacket I'd been using and I love it. Well made with plenty of pockets and access to inside clothing. Inner lining has comfortable cuffs and makes for a very snug feeling. Pockets seem to be lined as well keeping everything dry. I've been out in some real howlers and this jacket works brilliantly. Bone dry and incredibly warm: water beads off the outside whilst the inner layer keeps you very warm. I took a size too small and found the arms a fraction too short: my mistake. However, my young apprentice is now very happy and I've just ordered the next size up, problem solved. Looking for a great jacket that keeps you warm, this is the one. Looks good enough to wear normally and almost too good for work. Great value jacket.”

“I have had this coat for a fortnight now and been out wearing it for long dog walks during the brunt of storms Brendan and Ciara. In both cases it has kept me warm and dry, no leaks or wind chill at all. One small annoyance is the large hood which is rather cumbersome, and prone to fall over your face on a windy day. This however is easily rectified by wearing a peaked cap to hold it up. I bought a size larger than I usually get, based on a previous reviewers comments, and with the liner it is a perfect fit. As well as weather durability which is my main concern, it also has many pockets that remain dry. The removable liner means it should be fine as a summer coat on wet warm days too.”

“Having had this coat for over a month now, I feel that I can write an honest review. I bought this coat for when I walk the dog, having a Border Collie I have to go out in all weathers, it's amazing how regardless of the conditions outside they will always nag to go for a walk! Having previously tried all manner of supposedly waterproof coats all with fair to middling results, my son said to me one day that I should try a Gore Tex coat like he has to play golf in. When I saw the prices £100-£150 I thought on your bike. In a flash of inspiration I thought why not try ex military, searched the net and came across this site and when I saw these coats I was impressed a brand new Gore Tex jacket for under £50.00 complete with liner no brainer. I have now worn this coat in all weathers from around our local park to the New Forest and it is absolutely perfect, in heavy rain, strong winds and downright cold. No leaks, no cold spots brilliant, just as an aside I also bought a pair of the Austrian Army Gore Tex trousers (Distressed Range) at the same time as the jacket and when worn with the jacket I am 100 percent dry and being Gore Tex you do not get to hot. So would recommend buying these as a pair. Quick footnote, have bought one of these jackets for my wife, again she is very impressed. So if you are ever in the New Forest and see a couple of German Policemen walking a Collie in the pouring rain, say Hello”

“I bought my coat to wear on the farm. It is,extremely warm with the liner in. I haven’t worn it in heavy rain yet but I am confident that it will perform well. It arrived quickly and was exactly as described. The only complaint is,that the hood is huge and despite being adjustable it isn’t of much use due to its size.”
