“Great Jacket with genuine Gore-Tex liner. Very warm with removable fleece on inside so with this removed will be great in the Summer also. Good for dog walking in all weathers & the Scotchlite buttons & cuffs make it safe in the dark. I found that there was an iron-on Scotchlite patch over the Polizei sign on the back which was easy to pull off leaving the jacket authentic. Since the German police stopped using these green jackets years ago think will be ok walking the dog in the UK lol. Mine was manufactured in 2008 but is absolutely brand new & unissued. It did have a very slight musty storage smell but a few days in an airing cupboard & squirt of Febreze has made this go away. I was going to launder it but decided against this in case the laundering would affect it's waterproof properties & it still has that crisp new unused look. Am very pleased & it should last for many years. A very good quality product. Would give 6 stars if I could.”

“I have many serious waterproof jackets (DLX et al) but in quality terms this is supreme. It is heavy but it breathes and you can always remove the lining. Also, the stupid night-glo reflector over the word Politizi comes off ever so easy revealing a wording that is quite a talking point. I used this first to walk the dog in a serious storm; totally dry and the rain just bounced away and when back home the jacket dried after a big shake. Wonderful value and quick delivery. The only drawback is Forces Unlimited should bite the bullet and include postage - even if it costs ten percent more as you know where you are at the purchase stage.”
