“Unless it's warm weather outside, you can use this great-looking and practical jacket at pretty much any time of the year. I've worn it in heavy rain for several hours and not been especially wet, and it's really good against the wind in exposed areas. Plenty of storage-space in the huge and sturdy pockets, too. I've had plenty of compliments while wearing this, so if you're fashion-conscious that should be a big plus. The only thing I can say against this great M65 is the hood, which could be much better. Not enough to make me change the score, though.”

“Great service! Great jacket, great quality and an absolute bargain for the price. I have an original Alpha M65 and the Austrian 40-42” chest ‘tall’ is very similar in size to an Alpha medium (regular). I’m 6 ft. 2 and like the previous post find the arm length just right (Nice and long). If I wanted to put something like a fleece layer underneath I’d probably go up a size.”

“The jacket I received is grade 1+. It takes fairly close examination to tell that it's been issued. It performs exactly as described in that it is constructed of both waterproof and breathable material. If you wanted to buy a jacket of this quality new and on the high street, it would cost at least 3 times as much. I'm delighted.”

“This is a great jacket and I'm genuinely pleased with it. I must admit I was slightly concerned as it was 2nd hand from the military but all worries went away once I'd worn the jacket a few times. I go out everyday dog walking come rain or shine and its difficult to find a jacket that suits all weathers. The M65 comes as close as you will get, especially during the autumn and winter months where the gor-tex waterproofing really does work. I've deliberately bought an extra large so that I can wear a light fleece underneath when its really cold...... A good purchase!”

“I was looking for a cheap gortex jacket for walking and general working outdoors. This jacket does the job. Loaded up aroof rack in the pouring Welsh rain last weekend, the jacket kept me dry and comfortable, for the price good value.”

“I've just received this jacket - it is very well made, in almost new condition and is an excellent fit. Exactly what I wanted! But what I found Forces Uniform and Kit excel in is customer service - they didn't have the XL size but did some ringing around and got hold of a batch (there was nowhere on the internet I could find any XL sizes). Most companies would say they didn't have your size and that would be it, but I was very pleasantly surprised at the approach of FU&K. There should be more companies running like these chaps run FU&K”

“Love this Jacket... good fit... great condition... 100% waterproof. My son wanted one as soon as he tried it on, at this price for a Gor-Tex jacket I had no second thoughts of getting another.”
