“Despite reading the favourable reviews, I was very pleasantly surprised. This is a quality piece of kit. I especially appreciate the long option. The medium jacket fitted me perfectly and felt very warm. I haven't tried it in heavy rain yet, but I'm expecting the best. I bought two in the end. A medium and a large. The idea being that I could wear a quilted lining under the large jacket in very cold weather or when I expect to be less active.”

“I had this jacket stolen in the past and I believe the thief recognized that it was superior quality wear! I was ecstatic to find this site to replace it. I can't fault anything. It's so warm but I don't sweat and it keeps me dry in driving rain on my bicycle. No reservations; I highly recommend this.”

“The jacket is well made and there are plenty of packets, zips on the two inside lining pockets is a bonus. So far only tested in light rain but kept me dry. Plenty of warmth but breathable so good for energetic walks. If I had to fault it an extra half inch on the arms would be nice.”

“If you want it to fit snugly then follow the inches sizing, otherwise convert the centimetre sizing. I'm normally a 40" but the 88cm was too snug (especially under the arms). The 96cm is a better fit and I can get more than a shirt underneath it. I suspect they fit large to accommodate multiple layers in the military and the shop has sized them more on a fashion fit.”
