“These are hardly worn, the first pair i had the sole came away on the first walk, sent a picture, next day there was another pair on the doorstep. Now that's service. Second pair are again, hardly worn. So nice to be slipping ones foot into the 'velvet glove' of a leather lined pair of German army boots again, after all these years. I've given them a few good rambles & scrambles and these soles seem fine. The ONLY drawback with these boots is the grip if you go a little on the extreme side.. i slipped over a couple of times being pulled down a slippery grass/mud/roots 45° slope by my three Wolf Dogsdue to insufficient grip, compared to the Austrian jungle boots, which held fast (much more aggressive grip. But for everyday use and relatively 'normal' use - you cannot go wrong!”

“I was very impressed with the quality of the boots. They were only lightly worn and looked brand new once they were polished. 260 is a good sizing if you are a UK size 7 but you might need insoles for a slightly more secure fit as they are generous. Recommended.”
