“Superb condition and excellent quality boots which came well polished. Extremely fast delivery ordered late Friday evening order was processed afternoon Monday and arrived Tuesday which was Christmas eve in time to be nice present to myself. Will definitely be buying other items from this site in the future”

“Excellent bit of kit, this is my second pair. They are really good value for money as well as being very comfortable. Well worth having!!!!! Very comfortable, no need to break-in. Amazing quality leather and leather lined as well. Were clean and plenty of wear left in them.”

“I have a pair of German para combat boots and since these look very similar I decided to check out these. Initial impressions. These boots were clean and had been polished, the laces were good. Some of the D rings (for the laces) were stiff or seized. The stiff ones were quickly freed up simply by wiggling them back and forth. The seized ones were freed by a tiny drop of WD40 via the straw, I think it was nothing more than hardened boot polish that caused the problem Similarities. Both are made from top quality leather, inside and out. In both cases the leather is thick yet supple, consequently both are comfortable. Both have been constructed to a very high standard. Both are extremely waterproof and should easily cope with a long days walking in either mud or rain. Both are likely to prove very durable. Differences. These are comfortable, whereas the German Paratroops' boot are unbelievably comfortable. These are very heavy. However, when worn they do not feel as heavy as expected. The German Paratroops' boots have a flexible sole that provides an ideal, amount of cushioning, these have a very rigid sole with almost no cushioning. The grip on the German Paratroops' boot is very good, the grip on these is generally adequate. For example walking through a wood and treading on tree roots you would not really notice them in the German Paratroops' boot, in these you do notice them. Summary. The German Paratroops boots are an outstanding hiking boot (regardless of the duration or terrain). These are a very good but traditional (some may say “old fashioned”) boot. If you want something for short walks around half a day these will be absolutely fine, but on a longer walk I suspect they could become tiring. They are better suited to soft ground than hard tracks. For dog walking or gardening they would be ideal and are outstanding value for money at £30, which even included a substantial cotton boot bag. As always the customer service is absolu...”

“These boots are great and in such great condition! They are 10 years old according to the date stamped but look brand new.Theyve kept my feet warm and dry in the recent very wet weather.They arrived quickly and even polished! Excellent boots!”

“I received these boots about a week ago, and i'm very impressed with them. They were in excellent grade 1 condition, with plenty of wear left in them, and are made of a very good quality, thick leather. I ordered size 13, and they fit me like a pair of slippers. The service from Forces Uniform and Kit was amazing, and the boots were delivered exactly when they were supposed to be. I will certainly be buying more items from this company in future.”

“Great boots! Bought for fishing and first outing was probably 1.5 miles river roving walk with gear. Forgot to plaster ankles, but no problems. Comfortable and warm. Plenty of tread on soles and in very good condition all-round. Excellent communication and fast delivery.”
