“Indestructible. If the bombs come down, only these will remain of me, issuing smoke. More comfortable than expected, and condition is 'as new'. There is a trade off between weight and durability, they aren't light and I wouldn't want to walk further than about 15k a day in them, but I dont have to worry about any 'breakdowns' either.”

“These boots are perfect. They look great and I was really impressed at what great condition they're in. The fit is perfect and they're really comfortable. They were squeaking when I walked in them so I replaced the insoles and that sorted it.”

“Wow. Seriously good boots. Very well made as one would expect and in extremely good condition. I really can`t fault them. Hope however as they wear in they will stop squeaking. LOL.”

“Ordered size 42/8 as some reviews said to go a size larger than normal, had to return for an exchange because the boots were to big. The exchange was quick and easy and done without question, size 41/7 and fit well. Overall the boots are in superb condition, dated '1993' on the tongue but resoled in 2017 so years of life left. A quick polish turned them from dull to shiny in no time. The leather is soft and subtle with only a few marks but some time spent building up polish layers will soon sort those out. Very happy with them now the size is sorted, just need a few hours polishing. Highly recommended, my only gripe is the almost 'square' toe end from the resole, but for the money and quality, I can live with them. Oh and if yours 'squeek' remove the original insole and replace with a foam version, I put British army insoles in mine with a scholl foam 'odour eater' over the top.... So if your looking for a quality pair of boots for little money then you will not go far wrong with these... Much better than British boots whose soles fall to bits after little use. Highly recommended.”
