“Boots had been resoled but the leather was cracked and the overall condition was poor. Not worth the price. Disappointed.”

“This was not a grade 1 boot. The leather had cracks and the sole was worn. The boot was also misshapen. In general it didn’t seem that the boots had undergone any repair work but only polished. Would definitely be returning those.”

“Heels have been repaired and the leather is definitely soft, but a very functional pair of boots nonetheless. I have yet to try them on the moors where I intend to use the stuff”

“Nice boot. In good condition. Small cut on shaft of one surface only - that needs patching. Previous boots ordered (Austrian Para) were almost new but these have good bit of wear left in them. Would prefer a fully gusseted tongue but otherwise happy and would highly recommend. Cant really complain when you are paying such a bargain price. Quick and efficient delivery too. Will be buying plenty more here.”

“Bought a 42 and it is a pretty good match as others said they do size quite small ! I'm a 41 usually and a female so I have quite narrow feet but with my usual thick pairs of socks a 41 would have been too small. The shoes were in near brand new condition any of the imperfections like fraying on the laces can be fixed really easily.”

“First off, the boots look brilliant, just how I wanted, and were in great condition. They have some real weight to them, so walking around with them on sounds like doing masonry. That being said, the soles for the boots are solid as rocks - they have no give whatsoever, so expect to have to put insoles in yourself. That also means you may want to go a size up to compensate as I had to.”

“They fit perfectly but that's only since my feet are a bit wider and have a taller bridge than average, I'd suggest buying one size smaller than your actual foot with these boots if you have regularly shaped feet. As expected they came with a few scuffs here and there but nothing noticeable. They came clean and of course, smelled like leather. My feet never sweat in these and I'm comfortable in them all day long. I just use them as part of my winter fit but I'm sure you could also use them for work or anything else, and they are probably light enough to use as part of your summer fit.”
