“These are worth the money.They are very well made and the equivalent civilian type boot I think would cost about £300. They have a less flexible sole than regular boots and will be great for walking in snow when I go skiing soon.”

“The boots are great, a really high standard of quality manufacture for the price. Army surplus is alwaysI a bit of a gamble when you buy but my experience is there is more winning than losing. Remember it’s up to you to maintain and look after your boots if you want them to last”

“I have purchased these german army mountain boots before I had to buy another pair soon s they came back into stock for winter hiking.. They are supremely comfortable and dying feel heavy at all.. Offer excellent cushioning and support just deal out the insoles for a better pair of your choice... Excellent for hikes on any terrain especially in the cold season over rough and rocky terrain... Will last years of you look after them with good wax and polish... Fantastic service from forces uniform and kit... The pair I received this time have the meindl logo and vibrating the sole.... They also look very smart... I now have 3 pairs of these boots... 1 for winter hiking 1 for winter communing and 1 backup pair stored away... I highly recommend these boots for hiking bushcraft etc etc.....”

“I have just received my boots and they look like and feel like new. They definitely have not been broken in yet so I look forward to that. The build quality is superb and there is not one mark to show previous ownership. I was expecting to see some wear and tear, even the Vibram soles are unmarked. Impressed is not the word I would use to describe these boots....Value for money on steroids for these beauties..”

“very nice boots not much wear on the outside of the boot unfortunately inside of heel lining was worn through. and the right boot was crushed at some point witch did not spoil the integrity of the boot. they are very good value for money, the service from forces uniform and kit has been very prompt and i will be waiting for further stock. thank you fuandk”
