Sorry about the high price of shipping Emerson. We do try to find the lowest cost for shipping, whilst using a service which is guaranteed to get there and be trackable at the same time. We have used bucket shops in the past, and eventually have had to send a new consignment because the original has disappeared completely. So we want to get it right, first time. Anyway, we do hope your coat purchase is proving to be a worthwhile one.

“This is my second purchase of a Dutch Trench coat from Forces Uniform and Kit. I bought my first one several months ago, for re-enactments, but it was such a nice coat I ended up wearing it on a regular basis. Several of my friends admired it, and so my second purchase was as a Christmas present for one of those friends. I can confirm that he is over the moon with his coat. This is a top quality Trench coat, and well worth the price. I recommend it 100% Many thanks guys.”

“Hi, For some reason, I decided that I wanted an 'old school' raincoat, like 1940s film noir detectives wore. I was fed up with wearing outdoor pursuits gear when it rained. Getting the right trench coat coat is really hard, and / or expensive. Basically you are down to hugely expensive 'premium' (aka rip off) brands. I was just starting the process of convincing myself that i could justify 000s of pounds, when I got them to spare, on an old school trench coat when i saw this item. It is brilliant value for money, high quality, just the right cut and style and the service has been excellent: 48 hours or just under from order to delivery I am delighted.”

“This jacket is exactly what I was hoping for. You can tell just by its feel that it is of a very high quality. The chest measurement was true to size but if you have a long torso and shorter legs like I have, expect to take the bottom up a bit as it hangs at mid calf for me. I'll also be bringing in the sleeves. I'm not normally one for alterations but this coat is definitely worth the investment.”

“This is a top quality product and excellent value for money. Unfortunately I had to send mine back. I am somewhat barrel chested and although the coat fitted my chest and back comfortably it was rather too long in the arms and length to be practical. Fabulous and efficient service and I will use definitely use this site again.”
