Too long (not what I ordered), a little fusty, the replacement zipper is cheap but the price is good and delivery was quick. On the whole quite happy.

This is a great Jacket at an amazing price. The one I got seemed to be unissued, but also seemed to have been in storage for a long time, with a bit of a musty smell to it, which is no big deal as it went away with a quick wash. The size I got, Large/Tall was just perfect for someone tall and thin like me (6'4", 39" chest, 36" waist), and is probably the jacket I've had that is most correct for my size and shape since I usually have to buy a regular length XL just to get the length and sleeve length I need, but at the expense of a jacket that is way too wide around the chest and over the shoulders. It is quite a heavy jacket, the durable polycotton fabric double-layered throughout the garment, making it a great three-season jacket, though a bit on the warm side for summer and the balmier spring and autumn days, though the fabric is quite breathable and allows for comfort in a wide range of temperatures. The design is rather good, the zip starting just below the waistline rather than at the hem, which is simply genius, and once you get used to it, you'll wonder why not all jackets are designed that way. Below, along and above the zip length, there are buttons, but that also means the jacket can remain open from hem to zip if you want it to, allowing for more comfortable movement when climbing uphill, for instance as there is no restriction on the thighs as there otherwise might have been from a jacket of this length. One drawback of the cut of this particular jacket is the rather snug fit around the shoulders and upper arms, which, together with the double fabric, means there can be some heat build-up at the armpits, and there is no armpit zip for ventilation. This last thing is of course a feature, not a flaw, as one of the important specifications for a military field jacket is to provide decent protection against nuclear fallout, as well as liquid chemical and bacterial agents, and when fully dressed with boots, trousers, jacket, gas mask and hood, there should not be gaps of the kind of size that a proper armpit ventilation might have implied. Since this is a jacket for everyday use for me, however, I might see about having it altered to include armpit ventilation at some point. Another thing that might seem a little odd if you're used to hunting jackets, as I am, the two main pockets don't extend outwards, rather they are flat. I presume this is specifically to accommodate the webbing and belt attachments that are part of the standard Austrian army gear. Whatever the reason, it makes the jacket look more stylish and fashionable when worn open, but it also means there is significantly less space in the pockets than there could have been, particularly when the jacket is closed. All in all, it's a solid, stylish jacket at what I'd consider an absolutely unbeatable price.

Well made, strong jacket. Perfect for the price. No qualms there. However- Dpd were, as usual, a nightmare and delivered two days past expected date. I really wish you didn't use them. I'm reluctant to buy from you again due to you using dpd

I am extremely pleased with my new jacket and have had lots of positive comments. I chose this jacket partly based on all the positive reviews and can now completely agree with all the comments. I'm always a bit nervous about getting the wrong size when buying on line but this fits me perfectly, as a guide for others I am 6'1" and 42" chest and the fit / length is spot on. Great service from Forces Uniform and Kit, i would definitely recommend. Thanks

Extremely good value for, money. Fit is on the big side but it is a military issue so that's fine. Hard-wearing material and is in really good condition.

Amazing value. This jacket is extremely well made (great details), in very fresh condition and also just a really useful winter jacket. My son wanted it for a walking holiday and he's delighted with it. The sizing is also very accurate.
