“Bought for my son. He is a 36 inch chest and the small fits perfectly. Really good quality heavy coat. Couple of buttons came off after wearing twice so have restitched all of them so they don't get lost. Was a bit creased from packing but hung out fine.”

“Bought this for my son and he is delighted with it. It arrived quickly and no post and package charges which is great! only thing was it smelt a bit musty, but took it to the dry cleaners and its grand now. Gorgeous very heavy warm coat!”

“Bought my second Russian officers great coat, it was in mint condition, slightly different to the one I bought for my wife, but just as awesome. We got stopped in Glasgow as we both had our coats on to have our photo took by a Bulgarian whine lived the look. Happy days.”

“Wore this the first time Saturday evening, although I had a (XL) waterproof 3-in-1 jacket outer shell over the top to keep the rain out. It's warm and heavy! It seems to be new unused, as it's quite stiff. I was after a decent overcoat for winter, and this might be it, it has a long hem which I want. Quite how the neighbourhood is going to take to me wandering about with the epaulettes on I'm not sure; I also have a Greek fisherman's hat which is very like a Russian officer's black combat or field cap, especially if it had a red star badge on it. The fit is definitely a medium, which I am, not a lot of room underneath but shouldn't be necessary if it's warm enough. Room for a thick button-up shirt, but not a dress jacket I don't think. Delivery was quick, can't remember how long exactly but only 2 or 3 days. Very pleased so far! PS:”

“Great piece to add to your collection, and fantastic service and delivery on foruniformandkit.co.uk. The actualy delivered product looks slightly different than the one pictured, (different lapels / epaulettes) but this to be expected when buying surplus equipment.”
