There have been a few blips in general, but nothing documentation and the forum could not solve.”

If there was a problem with a profile migration, you have the option to migrate the profile back to the original account while any issue is investigated, and then migrate again.

After troubleshooting the Windows Configuration Designer package, everything went fine.
We could migrate a user within 15 min with the profile edition , instead of 30-40 min when doing it manually with the Free edition.

“As an IT professional for over 30 years, this is one product that I wish I had come across years ago. It is certainly one tool I would recommend to any professional or IT support involved with the migration and /or updating of Microsoft servers. “Works very well in migrating windows local user accounts to domain accounts. Ideal on small domains, migrating one machine account at a time, remotely from a single machine where the license resides. Migrating can be done as a profile copy (if you have the drive space), leaving the original local account intact and unchanged. Migration without the copy option is fairly quick.
There is the option to revert to a local account, but I haven't tried it. I migrated 10 machines and it worked very well on all of them. No one noticed a difference in their environment after logging in to the new domain account.
I did notice problems with folders that were individually encrypted, so make sure these files/folders are unecrypted before migration. (fully encrypted drives were not a problem).
Overall a good product, worth the license fee. You only need one license on the machine you do the migrations from. Glad I found it.”
