“I've only had the fin a week, I used it Friday while paddleboarding attached to my 13'2 voyager. Attachment was easy using the supplied box fin adaptor.
I went out for a couple of hours on a canal & river. I mainly used the fin in boost mode, giving 15 seconds of thrust at a time. When I got home the app still indicated 55% charge.
When charging for the first time the instructions say the charge light will go red and then green once charged. Mine stayed green and the fin would only power on while plugged in. After a quick Google and I read a post that said just leave it plugged in and it will eventually charge, which it did. It took about 2 hours before the red charging light turned on, and it did what it was supposed to do.
It charged after use no problem at all.
For my next outing, I plan to attach the fin to to my tandem board, that I use as a mule, carrying me, the kids and our kit on while paddleboarding.”
