“I really like these but I would NEVER give them to my dogs (shiba inus) as they come - they're just too hard. Instead I use a hacksaw (yes, they're that hard) to cut the small ones into pieces about an inch long, then microwave them for 20-30 seconds and they puff up beautifully (I will then cut the puffed up piece in half, to give on two separate occasions, as they get huge when they're nuked!). They end up with a texture similar to cinder toffee, light and crispy, and the dogs adore them this way. Lovely as an occasional treat.”
