A great chew that last a long time, our puppy hasn’t been mad on it but definitely still chews it now and again when she’s teething

I did not think for one moment that this root chew would be such a huge success with such a young puppy but he loves it! He was bringing in a number of sticks and bark into the house from the garden which of course splinter easily. Although he still chooses to bring wood indoors, I now have a suitable alternative to swap with and he is quite happy with the exchange!

Fabulous!! Yet again Cassie was full of great info for me and my bulldogs!! She recommended this root chew for roxy and she absolutley loves it!! Roxy usually just buries everything, bones,treats....its hard to find sonething that she will actually chew on!! Brilliant thankyou!!

As a concept and for heavy chewers I think it’s great. My Yorkie (giant, 6.7kg) is however what we call a “worrier” in that she uses her front teeth to very carefully worry away at any treat or toy. So for us, we did get splinters rather than bits of pulpy wood (not ingested because she was being watched to see how she’d attack this latest chew). For those chewers who use their back gnashers I imagine this works a treat, which is why I’ve scored it 4 stars. For my hound, we’ll stick to the furry rabbit ears and Yak bars (best I’ve found!) which she worries away at to her hearts content!
