“It was advertised as being for thick hair but I've bought $10 paddle brushes at the drug store that brush through my hair better than this one. It is beautiful though with the leopard pattern.”

“Great wet brush but unfortunately the bristles melted the first time I used it with a hair dryer. Smelled something burning and quickly realized it was the brush. Sad because the size is great and the print is so cute.”

Hi An, I'm really sorry to hear that you melted your new D90L Leopard Tangle Tamer. You're right that the D90L is not heat resistant and we do not recommend using it with a hair dryer - the brush is really for wet and dry detangling rather than blow-drying. We do sell a heat-resistant detangling brush called the Tangle Tamer All-Star. It's available on and website and in our Amazon store. “My daughter is mixed and has thick, long, curly hair. She has had the classic brush for 10 years and we just got this one. She is soooo happy. She says it hurts less and she has less tangles. It’s expensive but IMO worth it. If it last another 10 years like the classic I’ll be happy too!”
