After many recommendations, I got the brush and it is definitely everything that was said about it. Brushes and defines beautiful curls. Do not understand how I have not purchased it until now.

Again, I would prefer a 'soft touch' finish.

My old model had a softer red rubber cushion and felt more flixibel to the scalp; the red cusion is a different material now, makes the teeth/combs more harsh to the scalp. The teeth/combs also feels less «bendy» and the whole brush feels lighter in the hand. It is not the quality this model used to have. Overall experience: Feels «cheaper».

Hello Camilla, thank you for sharing your review. I am sorry to hear this about your new brush. Over time and use will find that the pins will soften. Regards the weight of the brush, you're old brush may have been our D5 which also has 9 rows but is a heavy weighted brush in a matt finish. Please contact us on customerservice@denmanbrush.com if you wish to discuss further. Best wishes - Jill.

This was bought as an option for our son, he has only used the D38 so far, but was chuffed to bits to get them.
