I am so disappointed and sad about the quality of this brush. I bought my last Denman brush about 10 years ago and it is awesome. This new one? Not so much. This one is much more cheaply made. The main, and very annoying, issue with this new brush? The brush head slides out of the brush handle every time I brush my wet or dry hair. I have to stop at least twice in the middle of brushing to push the brush head back into place when it is dry (!), and three or four times when it is wet. Really? Thank God I have straight hair! If I had a curly mane, I would be even more frustrated. Come on, Denman! Please get your act together and engineer the old quality back into your product.

This is a quality brush. I only gave a 4 because after exhaustive research this brush # should be the best for wavy shoulder length hair. Now that may still be the case however for THIN textured hair I’d try a different brush # thats is softer and more gentle. This brush is very stiff and feels rough on my hair when it encounters even the slightest tangle. I do love that by some sorcery it helps define my waves but i have to be careful it doesn't rip my hair out. Fine textured hair needs a softer brush with a bit more flexibility to the bristles.

I really used to love this brush, it’s been made differently and falls apart as I use it. I would not recommend.

This brush is slippery and the bristles slip out! So catching a snag in the hair requires a total reconstruction of the brush if you don't catch it in time. It's a huge inconvenience and wish that it was the same construction of the brushes I've been using for the past 15 years.

Hello Michiala, thank you for leaving your review. To stop the pad from slipping from your D4 handle, please remove the pad and clean the pad and handle with clean water and let the pad dry naturally, this should prevent the pad from slipping. If you need any further assistance, please email us customerservice@denmanbrush.com
