“Absolutely did not work for me after a month of experimenting and watching videos of how to use. Most methods at best just end up straightening my waves and causing my hair to flip at the ends, at worst a lot of hair ends up getting ripped out (in the method of twisting hair around the brush)”

Hello Cheyenne, thank you for taking the time to review your new Denman D3 brush. We are sorry to hear that the different techniques have not worked out for you. The easiest one, I have found, is to brush your hair away from your head (not down) and let the curls fall then scrunch.
