“While ive only used the brush once and for the first time ever, the experience was amazing. I have long type 4c hair with medium density but also very delicate and prone to shedding (more than average - as in the pressure was getting worser and worser! ). I didn’t think a brush could ever get through my hair with care without ripping through it. The brush was able to glide ( and I mean glllliiide, child !!!) through my hair from bottom to root with minimal shedding and quicker than normal. Keep in mind, my hair was in a previous stretched state and not too detangled or matted. Nevertheless, the denman surprisingly detangled my wet hair without the usual struggle - I neva experrred it!. So, I do have high hopes for when my hair is super matted. The only qualm I have with the paddle brush I got was the grip. I detangle my hair while wet and it kept slipping. I just had to improvise and hold the brush by the paddle as opposed to the handle. Even with all that, it cut my wash day down by a lot and truly made it a positive experience. I’m actually looking forward to washing my hair again just to use the denman. 10 outta 10 would recommend. Natural hair is neither unruly nor unmanageable, it just needs love, care, and the right tools engineered with our hair type in mind. So, don’t walk, don’t run either, just briskly with swift intention go get your denman.”
