“The idea and concept is great and the cooker is well made. The only negative for me personally is that the cooking blade is not wide enough, allowing you only to drape three pieces of normal width British ‘back bacon’. If you were to cook narrower ‘streaky bacon’ you would get more pieces on. For me this is a deal breaker as I like to cook 4-5 pieces of back bacon. One other thing to note: Where the bacon folds over the blade, it is somewhat less cooked. It seems as if the blade is taller than it needs to be, as there’s plenty of empty space at the bottom. You would never normally get a piece of bacon so long. If the blade was shorter/lower in the cooker it may perhaps do a better job of cooking the centre fold. I have tried the flat cooking portion with an egg and this works really well. Good product, but could be even better.”
